Trunk Shows
SJ Quilt Patterns offers two Trunk Shows: Squares & Rectangles and How to Choose Fabrics. Each are approximately 45 to 60 minutes in length. Our goal is to entertain, give hints, teach, and interact with the guild family.
Squares & Rectangles
During our lively 45 minute presentation, we will share antidotes and stories of our quilting adventures while sharing 20-30 quilts of our unique designs. The quilts are from traditional to modern, to eye catching to whimsical. All quilts are pieced using 2 1/2″ squares to large sizes. The quilts vary in size from table runners to queen.
How to Choose Fabric
You fell in love with a pattern but can’t find the fabric that matches the picture: what do you do? We will demonstrate how to audition fabric to make the quilt yours. We will also show some of the good and bad choices we have made.
